Although the ChicagoKid prefers college sports, the allure of the NBA Finals game 5 is too strong. While I am not a fan of NBA gambling, there are certain situations that I look for; 1 of them is whenever Kobe's team is getting points. Here, LA is +3.5 and/or +145 to win with an O/U of 198. Clearly the Magic will be playing hard as their season is on the line, but in many cases like this - with 2 games coming up in LA - the home team doesn't truly believe they can win the series and the team up 3-1 (usually the better team) smells blood and just ends the series. That is what I think will happen here; I think Kobe is too close and doesn't want to worry about another game. Also, I think the O/U is a little high, so I've broken my own rule and made a small play on with a 2 game parlay with LA to win and and the under - getting about 3.7 -1.

Dwight should have won.
ReplyDeleteSuperman will have his chances, but the Magic weren't quite ready this year.
