Alright, now I'm randomly getting called out by Joker so I think it is time for a strong finish to the season. I will admit, I am more than slightly confused by several lines this week, which I like, but honestly almost makes me feel like I'm being sucked in; then I think, no, Vegas never does that. Well, enough chit chat, time to get to some correct picks.
Wisconsin -4 @ Michigan. Alright, I'll just start with the most confusing; what do people expect from Michigan all of a sudden? I hope it is not that they will actually stop someone, because I do not see that happening. You know what you get with the Badgers and I think they'll be able to run all over Michigan. Badgers are also chasing the Rose Bowl so they have a lot more to play for here. Not to mention the Big House is not that intimidating any more. 3 units. Win.
Arkansas -3 @ Miss. St. Miss. St. has a very solid D, but I don't think they can slow down Mr. Mallett right now, he is playing well and I think they will score enough that Miss. St. won't be able to keep up. Hogs have proved they are a veteran group and can play on the road, so I don't expect too many issues there. 2.5 units. Win.
Va Tech -1.5 @ Miami. Va Tech has been rolling since the 0-2 start. Miami has athletes and will try to shove it down the Hokies throat; but I think they will be sufficient at stopping Miami's running game. Taylor is really playing well for the Hokies and I think they continue to roll here - although it may be ugly, but only giving 1.5 so don't have too much to worry about. 2.5 units. Win.
OU -7 @ Baylor. The Sooners are not as dominant as in recent years as they struggle to throw the ball down the field, but the Bears are struggling after a solid start to the season. I think their struggles continue against a balanced OU attack. Baylor's defense has been trounced the last few week and OU has too many weapons for them. 2 units. Win.
Rutgers +13.5 @ Cincy. Can Cincy really give 13.5 to anyone? I'm not sure, but I think that is too many to give a Rutgers team that has a very solid D. No question Rutgers is still trying to find itself on offense, but I really like the chance to take a solid defensive team getting this many points against an average at best Cincy team. In what is likely to be an ugly game, I'll take the nearly 2 TDs. 3 units. Loss.
There you have it, need a 5-0 week as I have been without one so far this year and think I'm due. I feel like I have been locked in and on a good roll all year so I would like to finish strong these last 3 weeks before turning my attention to college hoops. Good luck!!
By the way, sorry for the technical error originally, but hopefully now the post is viewable as opposed to just the picks.
